Important Team Information
At Borinquen Volleyball Academy, our 17U Regional program challenges athletes to strengthen their skills, leadership, and understanding of the game. We focus on tactical adjustments, positional execution, and team coordination while developing consistency and composure in competitive situations.
Rules
Athletes and families are expected to uphold good sportsmanship, attend practices and tournaments regularly, and respect coaches, teammates, and officials. Players should demonstrate effort, accountability, and timely communication about absences.
Lodging / Hotels
For travel tournaments, families are responsible for lodging and meals. Hotel blocks and booking instructions will be shared when available. Families must follow any tournament-required hotel booking procedures.
Disclaimer: The 17U Regional team may be upgraded to a National Team based on tryout performance. If upgraded, fees will increase from $3150 (Regional) to $3550 (National) to cover tournaments and coaches travel only, no additional training sessions will be added.

| Strength & Conditioning | Four 75-minute sessions per month at FCP Sports Performance during the designated training period. |
| Up to 7 Clinics Per Season | Up to seven eligible BVA clinics per athlete, including position-specific and skill-development clinics. Registration required; subject to availability. Unused clinics expire at season’s end. |
| Training Discounts | BVA athlete rates for eligible private lessons and small-group training; sessions purchased separately. |
| Practice Apparel | Two practice T-shirts and one long-sleeve warm-up shirt. |
| Tournament Registration | Annual membership included in tuition. |
| Coaches’ Compensation | Coaches’ compensation for scheduled team practices and competitions. |
| Coaches’ Travel & Lodging | Venue, food, & activities included. |
| AAU & JVA Memberships | Athlete memberships, as applicable to the team’s competition schedule. |
