National Teams

BVA National teams are our highest-level travel squads, built for athletes ready to train at an elevated standard and compete at national-caliber events. Players receive position-specific development and college-recruiting support while representing Borinquen on a bigger stage.

Club Teams

BVA Club teams (12U–18U) focus on strong fundamentals, team systems, and regional tournament play throughout the season. Practices are held multiple times per week at our Southern Maryland facilities (Port Tobacco & Waldorf), with a family-first environment that helps athletes grow on and off the court.

BVA 2025–2026 PAYMENT PLAN & REFUND POLICY

Payment Schedule
  • Payments are made in five installments.
  • First installment (due within 24 hours of team commitment/registration) includes:
    • Down payment for potential postseason tournaments
    • Insurance
    • Processing fees
  • Remaining installments are due on:
    • December 1st
    • January 1st
    • February 1st
    • March 1st
Payment Method
  • We ONLY accept credit card payments through our online payment system.
  • No checks or cash accepted.
Late Payments
  • If a payment is late:
    • The player will not be permitted to practice or participate in tournaments until payment is received.
    • A $75 late fee will be added if payment is more than 7 days past due.
Refund Policy (Regular Season)
  • Once a player accepts an offer and the first installment is made, they are committed to BVA for the season.
  • If a player withdraws from the club for any reason, they remain responsible for all outstanding tuition.
Refund Exceptions (case-by-case):
  • Season-ending injury during a sanctioned BVA event (must provide physician’s report).
  • Serious illness.
  • Relocation out of the area.
In these cases, a pro-rata refund may be granted with a written request to the Director.
No Refunds will be issued for:
  • Coaching changes
  • Personal reasons
  • Disagreements with the signed contract
