bio
With a lifelong love for volleyball and a passion for helping young athletes grow, Kisa brings years of playing experience, leadership, and enthusiasm to her role as a coach at Borinquen Volleyball Academy.
Her volleyball journey began in high school, where she earned a spot on the varsity team as a freshman and later served as varsity team captain. Her leadership and love for the game continued throughout her undergraduate years at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she played recreational volleyball. While pursuing her Master of Business Administration, she also competed on the women’s recreational volleyball team at Joint Base Andrews, keeping her passion for the sport alive.
Outside the volleyball community, she works as a Conference and Events Planner during the week and a Wedding Planner on the weekends. Whether coordinating major events or coaching on the court, she enjoys bringing people together, building confidence, and creating meaningful experiences.
As a coach, she is passionate about teaching young players the fundamentals of volleyball, encouraging teamwork, developing skills, and fostering confidence both on and off the court. She believes volleyball is more than a game—it is an opportunity to build character, resilience, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Her goal is to help every player recognize their potential, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lasting love for the sport.
