Luisset Acosta

Coach Luisset Acosta brings an impressive volleyball résumé spanning decades as both a player and a coach. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she began playing volleyball at six years old and went on to compete in the Liga Puertorriqueña Profesional, collegiate volleyball, and beach circuits. Her coaching career includes leading minor leagues in Puerto Rico, winning two consecutive Christian School Championships (2020 & 2021) with Rosedale Christian Academy, volunteering with a beach volleyball winter league in Crofton, and serving as the Head Coach of Holy Trinity’s Varsity team.

Her philosophy emphasizes skill development, confidence, and leadership. Coach Luisset believes that discipline and hard work lead to growth and that every athlete should enjoy the process of learning the sport they love. She’s known for bringing high energy and positivity to every session, making her teams both competitive and cohesive.
